Welcome to You Can Be Gluten Free! A website born from years of experimenting with gluten-free cooking and baking. When my son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies (wheat, barley, rye, oats, eggs and peanuts), it was my task to create delicious, safe, healthy food for a growing boy to eat. The hard part, I discovered, was creating Southern staples and classic comfort foods that tasted like their gluten-laden versions for me and my husband.
